Who Are We and What do We Do?

We are a nonprofit organization located in Providence, Rhode Island that dedicates our time and energy to generate awareness about deforestation.  The RIFPC strives to  provide people with informed facts about the major causes of deforestation (mainly focusing on palm oil) and to offer some solutions on how to help put an end to it.  Through the use of social media, events, donations, and merchandise sales, we are able to reach a vast array of people from all around the country which allows people to hear about our story and our mission. We believe in the power of people and that together we can fight against the major threats deforestation poses to the environment. Additionally, the RIFPC is co-sponsored by three other organizations: the Amazon Watch, Trees for the Future, and the Forest Stewardship Council
